30 Years and Still Going Strong!

In January 2012, I will be celebrating the 30th anniversary for The Needle's Eye.  A small alteration business I started mainly from the encouragement of my late father - who realized the public need for my talent.  A talent passed down from my fashion-loving, perfectionist mother!

The Needle's Eye began as one sewing machine and a bachelors degree in Home Economics, without a vision for the future.  I was willing to "give it a try" for a few months or until something better came along.  Needless to say, nothing better came along!

Bridal gown alterations have been a big part of my business from the very beginning.  Thirty years later - I have fitted approximately 5,000 brides, altering their gowns as if it were my daughters'.  This year I had the pleasure of altering my own daughter's wedding gown!

I feel blessed to have a talent I can share with a bride striving for her perfect wedding day experience.  Everyone has a talent, but not all realize what that talent is and how to enjoy every day because of it.  Thanks Mom and Dad!!
